I am usually very little difficult with regard to establishments, services and foods, but my experience in this restaurant has been more than disposable. We arrived at 7.15 p.m. and already a bunch of drunks were starved at the bar. We were whistled, we took disparaging remarks and we were rudely dragged all of this in the eyes of the officials of the establishment who didn't grind by seeing this sad show. The table service was more than mediocre. a waitress without genes and very unpolished. We ordered a torch pie each and the waitress looked at us odiously by telling us that it will be too much for us. Once our dishes arrived, we had no fork to cut food. On the return of the Italian we stayed at rosheim where we ate the best torch we ate for 30 years. The restaurant the Golden Cross is a typical Alsatian establishment that gives you direct family warmth!Thanks to local travellers we also tasted the apple torch pie, an excellent dessert. I invite you all to eat if you have the opportunity, it's a must.
the flame cakes were perfect, especially the flame cake with Munster cheese. the outside area of the restaurant is beautifully arranged. the family-run restaurant makes a floor-to-ceiling impression. the personal also speaks German.price/performance very good.
Do not expect a fine kitchen, but you will receive friendly service, decent food at an unbeatable price. This is the place where the locals meet for a glass of wine and a tart breakfast. And the sign in the register says they speak the local dialect... Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

we have searched for such a restaurant: authentic gastronomy. in this local one finds such. the flame cake was delicate, the service ground and cordial. just a nice evening. Thank you for that!
Great restaurant to experience Alsatian culture and tarte flambée! Absolutely delicious food, a friendly welcome and many locals. Can not recommend high enough
