La Cucina Italiana

I’ve eaten here more than a few times as I work nearby and the food has always been pretty good, especially the crispy eggplant which I order frequently. Tonight, 5/17, I came in to pick up my food and the cashier looked to be prepping sliced bread into plastic wrap in small batches. After ringing me up with bare hands, however, she went right back to touching the bread and wrapping up the slices with those same bare hands. It makes me wonder if this is acceptable at the front of house, what goes on behind the scenes. It’s unfortunate bc I really liked this place.

Great place for pizza and subs hands down. Haven't ate here yet to sit in but it's always popping.
