This is the fourth time we have celebrated a family birthday at the counter kitchen but this year we are rather disappointed. Not disappointed by the quality of the dishes, but disappointed to have reserved in December 2023 to be placed in January in front of the front door when it was 0° outside and we had warned that we would be 13 people including 1 child under 2 years. Frankly, you should avoid the cold weather because it must be 10° in the restaurant when you are in front of the front door. So this will be the last for us because we are not used to booking in advance and finishing at the front door.

When they recommend a good restaurant around the corner, the natives immediately think about the kitchen at the counter. Personally, for having eaten several times, I find that there is a lack of originality in flavors. Space is small enough, it is often full (think to book) and it is very noisy if you are inside.
Unfortunately, we can't put 6 stars, but they deserve it. A warm setting, a very friendly team and incredible cuisine, every time I come it's a shock, the products are fresh and local, chosen with taste! Very certainly one of the best restaurants in Poitiers, you can go with your eyes closed! I'm not paid.

A very good restaurant, the kitchen is at home and the flavors at the rendezvous. A selection of choice beers (local in addition). A friendly and efficient service! I highly recommend, and I'll probably be back.

Authentic cuisine with fresh and finely cooked products. Wines chosen with professionalism and original and tasteful beers. Address pictavienne unconcourtable for a good quality price ratio.
