Arrived at this town as there was limited choice of options in the area to eatHad to wait till 1900 to the restaurant opened and was the first in the doorIt was a well decorated mid class French restraintI told the owners wife that I wanted vegetarian and we decided in a much room pie with salad followed by three cheeses for 15.50It was good value and I loved my pie which was filled with mushroom and encased in puff pastry The service was friendly and the restaurant was popular
Visited here on a whim as we were in the area - and very glad we did. Food is excellent and nicely presented with quick, friendly service. The prices are very reasonable and we left feeling we'd had a good quality meal for a very fair price. There's a varied main menu plus a specials board with cheaper options. I had mixed seafood salad from the main menu which was really fresh, tasty and filling. My companion had paella from the specials board which was delicious, too.
We dined here on a Saturday. We were welcomed by helpful (and English speaking staff). On offer was the 'weekend menu' with ample choice and definately top quality dishes. Prices was reasonable too. Better value and better quality than anything we experienced in Amiens or Albert. We all left saying that we should go back again. Simply the best I've had in France for ages.
Stopped in Doullens on the way back to our holiday cottage after a trip to the Somme battlefields, and selected this restaurant based on Trip Advisor reviews.We were first through the door at 7pm and were welcomed by the owner.The menu isn't huge, but the food was well prepared and tasty, and the service was pretty good. It's not haut cuisine, but no real complaints.
We travelled to Doullens to visit our favourite restaurant, Aux Saveurs Authentiques but found that it had closed down so turned to our second favourite, Le Bristol but was closed at lunchtime so we visited La Dent de Loup, after negotiating a complicated menu and set meal board we enjoyed a very well presented and delicious three course lunch.
Loved this restaurant. Not only did we have really great food , reasonable prices & excellent service by our waitress but everyone there was so friendly to us Aussies- especially the lovely (very popular) couple beside us who kindly bought us coffees and said Au Revoir in the traditional way xxxx! Enchante!
Excellent restaurant, good food, friendly helpful staff an excellent pastry chef too (Kevin). The owner is the chef and the food is very, very good. The owners wife serves the food and explains the menu in fairly good English. I recommend it.
Very nice place I founded last March on my holiday in France ,family place with nice atmosphere and great tasty food ,local and international kitchen .The tartar they make there is really unique !!
We all ate really well and enjoyed the variety the menu offered. We were served by a delightful lady, who made us feel very welcome and that nothing was too much to ask.
