We came across La Farmacia by accident, as we were strolling through the old town El Vendrell after a long day at the water park in Terragona. Our table was in the little plaza on the back side of the restaurant and it was a charming location for a quiet evening meal. The town was just shutting down for the night and we enjoyed the last hours of twilight while dining on some tasty local fare. Visited El Vendrell and just off a little square was a Farmacia selling beer, but not just any beers they were selling lots of craft beers including ones from a brewery in Sitges but also export only beers Tennents brewery in Scotland. The staff and even the local customers were very helpful in describing the type of craft beers available. Off the beaten track but well worth a visit
I was intrigued when I found out that this genuine old apothecary that I remember as a child is now a bar! It's a lovely little corner with a great terrace, great house white wine lovely ambience. Do try it!
