My wife and I were staying at the hotel, so took the opportunity to eat in the restaurant to save driving into town, and we were glad that we did. After a whisky aperitif on the garden terrace, we were shown to our table in the conservatory restaurant, and looked after very well by the friendly staff. With several differently priced menus to choose from, we each plumped for the 30 euro one. My wife had the king prawns starter (flambeed at the table) while I had the carpaccio of beef with pear sorbet. We each had a beautifully cooked steak with vegetables with which we enjoyed an excellent claret chosen from the extensive wine list, and for dessert my wife opted for the opera cake while I enj...

The welcome was pleasant and were seated for lunch promptly. Menu's given and aperitifs served. Then it was downhill, service was slow and orders mixed-up..For instance I asked for vegetable instead of rice. When the meal arrived it had rice, I pointed this out and after a while some fried up potatoes arrived. Plus the meal was meant to be Salmon, cod and scallops in a sauce. Scallops 4 cod and salmon that had to be hunted for.... Should have been called Cod Stew!. Dessert was the best part of the menu. Overall, I would not rush back

Cadre magnifique, extérieur et intérieur avec patios bien aménagés. Serveurs sympathiques. En revanche, Repas très très décevant rapport qualité prix. Entrée sortie de sachets industriels, plat : poisson spongieux accompagné de petits légumes en conserve avec purée mousseline, et sauce toute faite, fromages de petite qualite et dessert congelé . Rien n'était fait maison. Ce que nous a confirmé l'une de nos invités, cheffe de cuisine!

At the edge of Chateaubriant, just after the last commercial area, opens the beautiful park of the castle. Situated and quiet, this estate offers rooms of all levels, all beautifully decorated. We had a perfect weekend in this magnificent estate. Angelique did everything to ensure that everything went well the welcome from all the staff was perfect The chef came to see us at the end of the meal which was delicious The rooms are cocooning and very quiet thank you for everything

We organized a weekend with 50 people, Hotel and Restaurant Angélique, the events manager as well as her entire kitchen and service team welcomed us in the greatest comfort, high quality service, a smile and cuisine. Absolutely delicious. Thank you to all of you.

Nice gastronomic experience, I suggest oisters and foi gras but everything from the menu is good. A little remark about the wines not following the overall quality of the food (I tried only some of them and not the most expensive).

Cyclist stop where Bretons met Alsatians...very warm welcome, comfort at the meeting to recover well, very good dinner in a private room and hearty breakfast to get back on the road. Address to remember Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Nice hotel. Nicely decorated room. A rich and varied breakfast. We took our evening meal at the restaurant: nice presentation with quality products. The staff is available and pleasant. We'll go back.
