Amazing! It reminds me of the meals I used to have at my mom's house. The flavors are classic and authentic. The rice is perfectly cooked - not too wet or dry. The beans and salsa have just the right amount of spice to enhance the taste without being overwhelming. I had the combo fajitas and my daughter had the taquitos, both were delicious. The homemade guacamole and cotija cheese were a nice touch, much better than the fake mozzarella you often find at other places. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We stumbled upon this hidden gem in Inglewood on our way to the airport and were intrigued by the presence of three highway patrol cars in the parking lot, assuming the food must be good. The restaurant is small, but has a separate dining area as well as a side for takeout orders. The food was delicious - we were served chips and salsa along with a small bowl of refried beans upon sitting down. I ordered the La Fonda bowl with chicken and it was fantastic. I definitely plan on returning.
The restaurant is clean, charming, and beautifully decorated. The service was exceptional and prompt. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. The portion sizes were generous, the food was hot, and it arrived at our table quickly. The dishes were well-seasoned and delicious. The prices were very reasonable for the amount of food we received. This is definitely a restaurant worth visiting. We will definitely be returning. The bathroom was clean, well-organized, and nicely decorated.
We stopped here for dinner on a business trip while killing time to try and avoid the worst of rush hour. While the restaurant had good ratings, we weren't expecting a lot based on the outside of the building and the crowded area next to the kitchen and cash register just inside the front door (see pictures). The freshly made chips and dip were delicious. The salads were also tasty. The Diablo shrimp was very spicy but good. The service was excellent. I would recommend trying the complimentary chips and salsa with bean dip, the mixed enchiladas plate, and the green sauce. Overall, a great dining experience with a meal price ranging from $20 to $30 per person.
I visited this restaurant for lunch while on vacation and it was fantastic! The parking lot was small but still easy to navigate. I ordered the wet burrito with half red sauce and half green sauce. The green sauce had a delicious spicy kick to it. They offer complimentary self-serve aguas frescas, as well as free chips and salsa/bean dip.
Fantastic place for Hispanic food. Homemade with family members. This place is a gem. Their hot sauce is very hot. Wish that I had a gallon to take home!
Good food. Kind servers. It gets busy so be sure to arrive before the crowd comes. Check this place out if you want a tasty meal in Inglewood.
