We were very welcome there. I said we're coming with a stroller and this little detail has been taken into account so that we're put at a table with square. As for the meal, I took a sprinkler foam in the entrance. very good but, according to me and according to my personal tastes, I would have served it warm rather than cold. despite everything she was very instuious and light. Very underwhelming experience. The food way okay, but a main dish costs 23 to 30 euros which is way too pricy for the quality. The menu isn’t very interesting either, using similar type of dishes you find elsewhere, but in different variations. Apparently they only know how to make a sauce of Morilles in Vin Jaune because you can get it with porc, supreme poulty (which was just chicken), chicken etc. And it wasn’t really special or delicious. Big portion though. But for this price you can get an entire 3 to 4 course menu of much better quality elsewhere! The staff was really friendly but the service was very slow. We were looking out for this restaurant as we had had a good lunch there before. Unfortunately this time it did not live up to expectations. We had the menu du jour and while the starter and pud were good the pork dish was very fatty and greasy. The biggest disappointment however, was the children's menu. You wouldn't think you could go wrong with that but the chips were dreadful. They looked as if they had been sitting around for hours. When we complained and asked for a replacement the ones they then served were just as bad and still not even hot. One of the worse meals I’ve ever had in France. The dishes are a mixture of traditional French cuisine coupled with a pseudo modern finish. The mixture of tastes did not work and the focus was on the presentation and not the quality of the food. We had a chicken that was served with carrots and potato purée then swamped by a heavy sauce with morelles. This restaurant was overpriced and a big disappointment. The decor was tasteless and the service was poor. I cannot understand the good reviews here I am sure the person comparing it to a Michelin starred restaurant spends more time at Macdonalds than in Michelin starred restaurants. Parkplatz vor dem Haus. gepflegter, geräumiger Park mit großen alten Bäumen hinter dem Haus, sitzen in ihm, schön gestaltet. wegen des ausgezeichneten Restaurants, das wir hier waren, ist das Hotel praktisch und gut. zum Abendessen hatten wir Mousses mit würzigen, wachsartigen Filzen in einem Kartoffelpumpbett mit frischem Kuschel- und Feingemüse sowie Küken in einem gemütlichen Bett (doppel, leek, zuckerschoten) Kalbsbries (ris de veau) auch in einem Kartoffelpüree und Gemüse. eine Freude, weil perfekt gekostet. eine nicht zu große, aber exquisite Auswahl, auf dem handschriftlichen Tisch präsentiert. defensive, unangemessene Preise. der service flott, freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Stayed here on a break on our way to the Alps, it was a very welcoming hotel, very comfortable and nice stylish design inside. The food at the restaurant was of a very high standard and incorporated nods to local produce. The breakfast provided many options and was also of a high standard. Highly recommended.
We were staying at the hotel for the night so booked the restaurant for convenience. We were all pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. I chose the soup starter and had a Thai curry for main and both were exceptionally good. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
