La Fontaine D'asie

After 10 years of living in France, this was our first experience of eating in an asiatic restaurant, and we were disappointed by the quality of the food, from start to finish. This was nothing like the food one can eat at a simple Chinese restaurant in the UK. We chose the menu at 20,90€. My wife chose a prawn salad, garnished with two prawns, skilfully cut in half to give the impression of being four. I chose the pork nems, which were very crunchy on the outside, and sparse on pork on the inside. The duck main course was bland, and my chicken was buried in a crunchy coating and completely dry. The restaurant is conveniently located at the center of a charming Provençal village. The food is great and fresh. Setting is cozy and the owner always welcomes us with a big smile!
