5 stars all across! We moved to the area about 4 years ago now and were so lucky to discover La Forchetta. By far the best pizza in the Rockaway/Wharton area. We have ordered catering through them twice now and every time we do, our guests RAVE about the food! It's one thing to delivery a delicious meal on an individual basis, but it's another to perfect large scale catering orders chicken marsala, meatballs, penne vodka just to name a few. Will always turn to this place when in need of a quick meal ordering out or catering a party!
We absolutely adore La Forchetta! We stumbled upon this hidden gem after moving to Wharton in 2020, and it swiftly became our go-to restaurant. The food is consistently delicious, the staff is always friendly, and the prices are very reasonable! Everything on the menu is fantastic, but we especially love the Grandma pie, pollo la forchetta, grilled chicken Caesar salad, and the Philly cheesesteak.
Wow! Don't be fooled by appearances. It may seem like an ordinary pizza shop from the outside, but inside, you'll discover a fantastic culinary experience! The food is amazing, especially the Bolognese sauce – it's a must-try! The waitress was also very charming. I'll definitely be coming back!

For a quaint little place, they serve some of the BEST Italian in the area! Tried a few options, and it 's admirable how close to authentic they are. Oh, and brush up on your pronunciation before you order.
A group of us gets together for dinner every month, and we've been dining here for the past few months. Every dish anyone has ordered has been delicious. We definitely recommend giving this place a try!
We enjoyed the Pollo Cacciatore and Pollo alla Catalina, both of which were delicious. The bread was crispy, and the cannoli was absolutely divine. I highly recommend this restaurant!
