La Gelatiera Oxo Tower

I visited with my fiancée and we were impressed to see that half of the ice cream flavours they offered (9/18 flavours) were vegan!! Despite being faced with such an amazing variety of flavours we both went for the same one – Biscoff (we are suckers for Biscoff). We went for the small with a cone and it was a great size for us (the medium and large must be really big) and it was absolutely delicious! The texture was excellent and the flavour was amazing. When vegan ice cream is this good I don’t see the need for dairy ice-creams, I can’t tell the difference. Came across this place by fortune whilst taking a stroll on the South Bank. They advertise vegan options and have a decent range available. They confirmed the cones were vegan too. I had a small tub of the vegan lemon ice cream which was packed full of delicious zingy lemon flavour but also creamy unlike sorbet. A good place to sit and soak up the atmosphere and watch the world go by. Overlooking the Thames. Seating inside and out.

The whole front row of the case was vegan. I agree with that other reviewer that this is the best gelato I’ve had. The chocolate was very dark and chocolately. The texture was smooth and creamy. So good!

Really impressed by the range they had and that the cones are all vegan. I can strongly recommend the pistachio!
