On our first visit for several years, we were delighted to be back but with a significantly larger party of eight. Some ordered the ‘menu de jour,’ others went ‘a la carte’ but all were delighted at generous portions of well prepared and excellently presented food. Service is efficient, friendly but unhurried, contributing to the relaxed and sociable atmosphere. This friendly restaurant remains good value for money in a charming environment and we still enjoy the chickens that peck around the gravel of this outdoor venue under the trees.
Came here for a family lunch whilst on holiday as my nephew fancied mussels and we knew they were on the menu. I fancied nearly everything on the menu but settled for moules too. Others in our party had pasta gratin and the kids all had pizza although there were plenty of other options on the kids menu too. Staff were friendly, service was good and the chickens that roam around added an extra bit of entertainment.
Well we holiday in south west France we always pay a visit to this restaurant. As usual the food, hospitality, ambiance and service was of a very high standard . We had mimosa salad for starter, cuisse de canard for main and fromage as a dessert. My wife and I shared a half litre of red and finished with a coffee. The cost per person was 18 euros!! Exceptional value.
We have eaten here many times and are never disappointed. Open air eating under trees for shade. They offer 3 courses and wine for less than €15. Our lovely guest asked us where she could treat us for lunch. We immediately said here! We were not disappointed. Ambiance, service, food, all perfect. In ten years if living in France, this is without doubt, our favorite restaurant. Thank you a beautiful time.
Very friendly service, patient with our French. We all ordered from the set menu, 3 courses for 18 euros. We were all very pleased with our selection, particularly the fish pie and creme brûlée. Would thoroughly recommend.
We come here every week. The food is excellent, the service first class and prices are affordable. Set under an awning of trees with colored lights it is an ideal spot for all to enjoy good food and friendly service.
