While hiking the Danube path, we were staying at the restaurant's hotel, the very nice Weisses Lamm, Being too tired to go far, decided on dinner at Pizzaria Venezia. Big mistake but we can only blame ourselves since we know better than to try a place that bills itself as being Italian/Greek/Mexican. My husband ordered spaghetti aglio, olio, peperoncino. What arrived was a plate of grossly overcook pasta drowning in poor quality oil of indeterminate type. The garlic was properly cooked -- not too much; not too little -- but instead of dried red chili peppers, who ever was in the kitchen used green chilis bottled in vinegar. Strangest of all, the fistful of black Greek olives on top of it all...
