Hello I would like to share my experience today At first I arrived at the port canto at the end of croissete, there you finds a shuttle that takes you straight to the restaurant . You could swim at any time sun beds available 100 euro , At the restaurants every thing was fine hostess took us to place very nice and kind , but we were inviting 6 ppl and I was ashamed the service is very week appetizer are quite small Greek salad homos artichoke salad calamari all great but small we asked for shrimp with appetizer but was very late and got it at end of meal Catch of the day was a very nice sea bass Grilled shrimp excellent pasta was good The worst thing is after when we payed the bill the waite...
La Guérite is the only posh restaurant on Île Sainte-Marguerite (one of the two Îles de Leyrins) and such a monopoly position brings with it the risk of overpriced and yet poor quality food accompanied by rude or absent service. I am pleased to say this is not what happened during our recent lunch. The place is pricey undeniably but the staff was attentive throughout our meal. My husband and I both had seafood which was very fresh and nicely prepared (not overdone as is often the case). The restaurant looks into the Baie of Cannes and the view is wonderful, possibly compensating (in part) for the prices. The island has 2 other eateries which are simpler – and also have a view. What an amazing experience from start to finish. It's not everyday you get to travel to a private island serving incredible food with views and a party atmosphere to match in a speedboat. Channel your inner James Bond to this exotic restaurant that does not fail to impress. The staff are all dressed to perfection with constant smiles providing a family friendly party atmosphere that seems to grow throughout the day. Be prepared to splash out for drinks and food but it's all worth it as you sink your feet into the sand relax and unwind and enjoy this truly special place. We'll be back next year to do it bigger and better!! Best place we've ever eaten and we've hit some nice places.
La Guerite is an unbeatable venue for sure.. Ranging from their beach area to their restaurant, I must say its my favorite place in the South of France. It is the one and only of its kind which is what makes it significant.Upon calling for your reservations, La Guerite offers you private speed boat transportation from Port Canto to the Island (around 7-10 mins). An ideal day would be arriving at 1pm for lunch and hanging out until the last shuttle (6pm). What I find unique about this destination is the live music rather than DJ-ing. The seafood is a 10/10 however I do not suggest other dishes. Very family friendly!

Service is poor, and the staff are extremely rude. There is two levels of service, the first if you arrive by yacht, then it may be fine, but if your a simple day visitor, then you'll be asked rudely to take a seat in the outside lounge area, which is a few chairs in the sand, and then ignored. Waited 30 minutes for any form of service, but gave in. The funny thing is that when we went there last year as a guess we benefited from the other service level, and they could not do enough for us, to the extent of it being very uncomfortable. The only reason we return is the location.
Lovely boat ride to the place, organized by the restaurant (departing point in Porto Canto, in front of the Capitenaire). Very nicely organized place, outdoor covered seating, lounge area (100E per place!)...Very good food (home made pasta, king shrimps, mussels, sweets) and nice atmosphere. This comes at a very high price - a dinner for four, no wine and no starters, two aperitifs and two beers: 350E! If you can afford it, do it.
Yes it is on an island in cannes and this is a very good location but 400 euro for 2 person with just one bottle(0.75) of rose wine is very expensive for a lunch. 120 euro for a rose wine that i first time heard about.. (waiter offered, wasnt in menu)Plus they added 15 euro per person for couvert. Miami style of check.. No need to spend this budget for this place. Overexpensive.
we visited this restaurant a few days ago, it looked lovely and we were looking forward to a cold drink and a meal after a long walk around the island....however, we waited ages for the waitress to come over and she continually ignored us, even went so far as pouring water for a child sitting at the next table then looked away from us and walked on...really rude and bad service.

Came to La Guerite by boat shuttle from Cannes, departed from the quay by Baoli club. It's a beautiful, beautiful place in an isolated location on the island of Sainte Marguerite. Really good food. Pricier than other Cannes restaurants, but keep in mind that you're also paying for the experience.
The place is really nice. Beautiful. But the service in the restaurant is just awful. It is not worth the money. The waiters are arrogant. Overall not the best experience on Cote d'Azur.
