After a long day of riding, Humita Express hit the spot. The food was delicious. I ordered the ceviche de pescado. It was played nicely with some plantain chips, popcorn, and tostado on the side. It was a very tasty and refreshing dish. If you like some spice, definitely add the sauce into the dish. I also tried the grilled trout and shrimp. The sauce was great, and it was well balanced and filling. The passion fruit juice is a must with your meal. All of this good food was paired with a wonderful and welcoming staff. I felt at home. La Humita catered my wedding at The Robey Hotel and provided the delicious and elevated Ecuadorian hors d'oeuvres of my dreams. Everyone was raving about how beautiful, delicious, filling and fresh the food was. They truly went above and beyond do meet my vision and I was so happy to I went with my gut and went with them. If you are looking for a delicious dinner at your wedding everyone will love, go with them.
A mouthwatering treat in all senses of the word! From the warm welcome by the restaurant staff to our delicious meals, we are so glad we chose to try this out. We ate a few things from regular menu and a couple specials, like the Casuela de Mariscos (Seafood Soup with Plaintain Base), Cheese Empanadas, and Arroz con Camaron (Shrimp Rice). This place has been around for a while but recently rebranded and revamped. And I've got nothing but good things to say now. It used to be a lil too pricy for me but now it's one of the best deals in the area. Huge portions and amazing flavor, brings me back to my time in South America. The second floor (El Balcón) has karaoke nights starting Thursdays from 8pm-2am. They have specials on beer and ruffles and a great atmosphere. They have authentic Equadorian food.
Great Ecuadorian food spot you find a very authentic Ecuadorian cuisine with great service. I highly recommend this place if you are craving good quality of seafood, beef.
