Droped there when was not even open for bussiness. He was searving the meal for some workers. We entered and ask if is possible to drink or eat something. The owner told us that actualy is closed, the ckichen is closed and he nothing to eat. Bun even if it was closed the guy was that nice, that he invited us in and give us 2 biers and we sat and talked like we were friend since kindergarden. We liked him very much. I connot imagine him like the others reviewers write!!When was about paying our biers he didn't wanted to hear about. He said that this time was on him. Réservation à 13 heures 30, sur place à 13 heures 25, servi après relance à 14 heures 30. Steak haché façon boucher sorti tout droit d'un carton de surgelés de super marché. Spaghetti bolognaise pas copieuse et viande très rare se battant en duel avec quatre morceaux de parmesan. L'année dernière nous y avons mangé tout les midis et étions satisfait de notre assiette.
Average rating sounds unkind but it is not meant to be. We had a nice meal here, well cooked local produce and fresh and honest. Great location just by the lift to top of the Saint Jean d'Aulps lift. Welcoming owner, Richard, and cannot fault anything really. Good spot for an easy good value lunch or, indeed, a few apres ski beers before getting the last lift down.
The surroundings are great. The food is good. The toilets and baby changing etc. are excellent but the owner (or head waiter - not sure which) lets everything down. He treats customers as if he's doing them a favour. When you dare to ask him for a table he's angry that you didn't book. He's rude to the children. The other staff are pleasant enough. Réservation pour 8 personnes à 13h30... table en terrasse dispo et bien mise en place.Service efficace malgré l'affluence.Pour moi, plat du jour (saucisse de Morteau ;P) généreux.Cheeseburger montagnard pour mon épouse : un régal.Résumé : pause du midi agréable au soleil !
Nous avons dîné 2 jours de suite à la Licorne, nous avons apprécié l'emplacement bien sûr (pied des pistes) mais aussi l'accueil même en plein "rush" de midi. Plats copieux, ingrédients de qualité. Personnel souriant et disponible. Très bon rapport qualité/prix
Excellent accueil. Nous avons été servis rapidement et avec le sourire. La cuisine est bonne. Nous étions 4 et nous avons choisi 4 menus différents et les 4 plats étaient très copieux et avec un petit plus en fin de repas....... Encore merci, nous reviendrons.

Beaucoup d'attente malgré une terrasse clairsemée. Nous avons mangé l'un après l'autre, le plat du jour ayant été renversé nous avons attendu le suivant 30 minutes. Aucun effort, même pas un café offert...
