The food at this restaurant was delicious, but unfortunately, the ambiance was lacking and the food didn't always match what was ordered. For example, my linguine with prosciutto and melon dish was tasty, but it came with spaghetti instead of linguine. Similarly, my husband's salad was meant to have salami, but had prosciutto instead. The restaurant has the potential to be charming with a sheltered patio covered in grape vines, but they ruined the atmosphere with a large screen television and messy cables. Posters in the windows looked disorganized from the inside and the kitchen staff appeared in sloppy clothes. Despite the good food, it's no surprise the restaurant was nearly empty.
My friend and I visited this restaurant with a coupon and from the moment we stepped through the door were treated like royalty. The choices offered with the coupon were varied and interesting. We both started with the caesar salad, which I have to admit needs work. Very vinegary, and shavings of parmesan would have been an asset. Their prices are a bit too high to allow for a mediocre caesar. However my friends main dish of veal and mine of ravioli were delicious and came in good portions. The service was fun and friendly and we felt very welcome. We would like to return this summer when the windows will be open.
Nous étions 4, avec des coupons I love Mtl. Je ne saurais dire la raison du pourquoi, le resto était loin d être plein, mais dès mon arrivée il y avait un malaise, etait ce, par ce que justement on avait un coupon, ou bien le fait qu'on parlait français? Va savoir. Pour ce qui est de la déco, je me demande ou est le wow. Pour la nourriture et bien, c'était passable et il manquait de tout. La seul mention irait au calmar. C'était quand même ok pour le prix payé. Malheureusement le but de l achat des coupons et d essayer des restos et pour celui ci première et dernière fois.
The restaurant has a charming atmosphere that is inviting without being pretentious. The food quality varies. Out of all the dishes, the gnocchi was a standout - homemade and delicious. The veal tasted more like pork, which was a bit odd but did not bother me. Overall, it was a pleasant meal but nothing extraordinary.

We went there as a group since we saw a deal on Groupon. There is no deal whatsoever - the food is horrible & there is no ambiance - we were the only one group there. I also noticed the server trying to push more bottles of wine on us... Really, you don't even get what you pay for. Don't waste your time & money!
Désolé il n'y avait pas l'étoile très mauvais!!!!! Vraiment tout était vraiment pas bon.Et je pèse mes mots!!! Nous étions 4 on ne s'est même pas rendu au dessert !! Je le déconseille fortement.De plus le vin était 4 fois le prix payé 10.15$ et payé la bas tenez vous bien ....43$ .À bon entendeur Salut !
When several times for dinner at La Locanda restaurant and the food was fabulous. Chef Alessandro is just amazing and he never disappoints ! The decor is classy , restaurant is clean, waiters are always there to serve you. So:Food: 5*Service 5*Decor 5*Entertainment 5*Try it you will not be disappointed
Anciennement Via Roma , le restaurant a perdu son cachet avec le départ des anciens propriétaires. Suis allé le midi, la table d'hôte est bonne pour le midi , excellent rapport qualité prix et aussi un excellent service, il n'y avait personne ......

We went (4 people) last night with a Groupon coupon that we had bought . It was our first time at this restaurant and we loved it! Very good food, excellent service and very cozy atmosphere. Definitely will go back!
