Order the Foie Gras Maison. It was the best thing I ate in a week in Alsace. We had an absolutely divine meal here. The Escalope Munster was perfect but the portion was a bit large so I didn't eat it all to have room...for dessert. The wines were local and heavenly. Unfortunately this restaurant is on a side street so many people don't find it. They should make the effort, it is worth it. The lady who served us may have been one of the owners, and the service could not have been better anywhere. We loved the place and when I return I may take all my meals there.
We took friends here the day after Christmas and were very disappointed after reading the good reviews. There was no atmosphere, the place was nearly empty, and the food mediocre at best, apart from the foie gras starter. The vegetables had obviously been microwaved to...death. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and for the hard of hearing person in our midst the quietness was a plus. Wouldn't go again when there are so manyexcellent places to choose from in Ubernai.
Excellence is not when it is perfect once, but when it is perfect 30 times what was the case. In addition to this, this restaurant is the most pleasant of Obernai, the patrons are a kindness cream that we go there at least once a month for now several years. Cuisine from the terroir, Alsatian specialty, tasty and warm To see you again!!!
