Das Museum ist schön, aber im Restaurant hatte ich das schlechteste Erlebnis, das ich je erlebt habe. Es gab nicht genügend Server, es dauerte mehr als 10 Minuten, um das Menü zu bekommen, da der einzige Server sehr beschäftigt war. Außerdem gab es im Restaurant eine Art Veranstaltung, sodass wir dort nicht sitzen durften, also waren wir draußen, aber am Tisch direkt neben uns rauchten die Leute. Ich denke, sie hätten bei dieser Veranstaltung einen Raucher- und einen Nichtraucherbereich einrichten sollen. the museum is beautiful, but I had the worst experience ever in the restaurant. there was not enough server, it took more than 10 minutes to get the menú because the only server was really busy. We had a lot of choice in the charming square outside Chateaux Gruyere with restaurants looking inviting and with plenty of seating . We were tempted but thought that the restaurant of the Gruyere factory would be better since it was after all the restaurant...of the Maison itself. The service was non existent and we had to really push and try to get any kind of service . The food too was OK but no more than that . The service destroyed a pleasant visit to the factory

Ein sensationeller Ort, an dem Sie den köstlichen Gruyère-Käse probieren können, der direkt dort hergestellt wird. Große Auswahl an Gerichten. Alles sehr gut zubereitet und lecker. Wir empfehlen, alle Les röstis Röstis und alle Desserts mit Gruyere-Creme zu probieren. Wir empfehlen...das Baiser mit doppelter Gruyere-Creme. Auf dem Weg zum Restaurant und daneben gibt es viele Kühe, die uns unterhalten! Wunderschön! Fantastisch!
I am not a big cheese fan, so I didn't take the cheese manufacturing tour. I was there to eat and I enjoy tasting some cheese. I chose the Rösti which comes with gruyère. It is really worth it. The food is excellent. It doesn't...matter if you choose the kids menu or just a salad. By the way, in front of the restaurant there is a playground for children where they can be entertained while the food is being prepared.
Good explanations of cheese making history and the restaurant was was a pleasure to sit in towards the evening. As the then cool temps permitted, a so called moitié, moitié Fondue was a perfect match in the place to enjoy
Le resto et certe touristique, mais on y mange bien. Que ce soit un plat froid de viande et fromage, ou une bonne fondue. Gardez de la place pour une meringue double crème framboise qui vaut vraiment le détour!

Avant de visiter la fabrique de fromage, nous sommes allés manger pour certains une fondue et pour moi des rostis / fromage / jambon de la borne. Prix respectables, bon service, très bien mangés.
On a très bien dîner même s'il fallait dîner tôt car la cuisine fermé à 19h00... Mais c'est très sympathique et la meringue double crème est très bonne !!!!!
