We went for dinner on a Saturday evening, and it was full. The pizza was decent enough and the tiramisu was good but not worth the 7 euro price tag. The fact that it was full and the waitress was rushed made us give her...the benefit of the doubt. She was rude (we both speak fluent French), dismissive and non-communicative. Alas we go back the next day for lunch as we had tried all the other restaurants. If you want the typical snotty pretentious rude French service then do go here and you won't be disappointed. She asked if we had decided on what we wanted to eat after waiting 10 minutes for the menus, she gave us 2 minutes to decide. Before I had finished saying, no, but I would like some...
I found la margueria very comfortable, even cozy, on a cool evening and have just kudos for the exceptionally friendly staff. I had just searched for some light, but misspoke at ordering (my French are very limited,) and ended up eating with much more than I could manage. despite my assurance that it was my fault and that there was nothing wrong with the food, the personal insisted to adapt my bill. How nice! the dish that I had eaten an salad with chevre toasts was delicious and very generous.
this pizza is absolutely incredible. it's the best pizza I had in all france. the personal was very helpful and explained what the pots were on each of the pizza options, as they are not listed in French or English. the wait for the food was average and the payment was simple. we recommend the pizza oil they spend with their meal.
the atmosphere was nice with wood, ski stuff etc. we had family dinner. the service was friendly. the menu was pretty hard to understand, even hard waiters translate it to us in English. Eating was really good, we liked especially eskalopes and pizza margherita.
