In the 1980s, I hung out there as a Teen, playing the 'Track Field ' 1983 arcade video game, which consisted of me frantically bashing 2 buttons as quickly as possible in order to try to break a top score. They had this great game sitting inside. I doubt they have any arcade games there anymore. Played it 5 times or so. Beautiful memories. That is all I remember of the place. 5/5. Having been to Vence for many years, we have passed La Pergola a hundred times for fancier places in the city. Situated just where you are heading into the old town, this is an old tabac with an eatery on the roof terrace. Just had to try, and it was a wonderful surprise! Friendly service and good, simple food cooked to perfection. Salads and lunch courses in a nice variety is on the menu. I had a perfect Salade Greque, but I really have to go back and try the Salade au chèvre chaud with several cheeses. The water damp came as a chill bonus. Good choice!
