Time to say goodbye.We have been going to the Farmington Hills location since 2006, (when they first opened). It has been a family favorite since then. However…….over the past year, our family has seen and tasted a distinct transition, from authentic to mass produced and unauthentic. To be specific, 1st the bread changed, then the rice and the final straw, the hummus.I know with Covid, the supply chain became challenging, coupled with increased costs for food, but when a company departs from what made them special (the flavors), it leaves us feeling undervalued and disappointed. I wish I could give more than five stars to this restaurant. Although the staff informed us that the food was nothing exceptional, we decided to try it out for a date night because of the amazing smell coming from the kitchen. We ordered the sampler platter (serves 2-4) and were pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size. The meal could easily feed 6 people and was well worth the price. In addition to the delicious food and great value, the staff also gave us a free dessert to try since it was our first time there. They even included a personal note on the dessert box saying "Welcome to the family, Ayman." I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be returning soon!
They were a pop-up restaurant in my building on 3.7.23. I paid for the food (through Fooda) but did not receive my order. Order did not get cancelled, there was no communication about it. I understand it was 1:11pm when I was able to pick it up, however, my takeout box could have just been left where it always is, on the counter. Very disappointed in this business practice. They got my money and probably wasted the food. I will not spend anymore money on this.
Server was friendly and described unfamiliar dishes well enough so that I felt comfortable ordering them. Had the koshary and really enjoyed it. Portions are generous. All in all a great experience.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. My favorite lunch is the hommous and vegetarian grape leaves, but I've enjoyed the hommous and spinach, hommous and tabouhli, and mjadra. Dinners: mjadra, ghallaba, moussaka, and koshary are all excellent.

We ordered catering for a work dinner and it was hands down the best Middle Eastern food I have had in a while, with plenty of great options to choose from. I even had the pleasure of taking some leftovers home, though they didn't last past that evening. Everything was perfect.
I recommend trying the Middle Eastern cuisine at this restaurant tonight. While it may not stand out among others like La Marsa's, the food is alright. We ordered a Fattoush salad without pita, and it came with four servings.
Coming here for 5 years now. Food is delicious, staff is friendly and dressed professionally. Never messed up or missed items for my orders. Never dined in but I love the atmosphere when I pick up my order.Food: 5/5
