One of the problems when driving from Spain into France is that of getting a decent lunch at a reasonable time. We happened upon La Masia as we were nearing La Jonquera. It is an easy access fron the NII in either direction look for the hotel sign on the right going northbound.. The menu del dia was €10 including drinks. There are massive selections for all three courses and the food is of a good quality. I particulary like the scarmbled egg and bacon as a first course and the home made crema Catalana for dessert. The house wine (red) that we tried was very palatable. The staff were very courteous and attentive and there was no rush to see us out.
As others have said, do not go here if you are looking for the lap of luxury, sophisticated dining or trendy waitstaff. However for a taste of old Spain's roadside eateries, it's a great find. Everything cooked fresh, but plenty of choice including about 4 special starters and mains every day with at least one fish dish. As an example, our recent visit bought us a tasty , copious 3 course meal, a bottle of local wine, two draught beers and coffee each for 26€ total. Extraordinary vfm. A sideline is the pizzeria which produces huge tasty pizzas, but, bizarrely it actually costs more to have one of these than the all-in menu I've described above !
I heard my smart list and the truth that the attention received was good, the kindness of the service, even if we spent one night. I love pet admission that is our complication always. the only thing if you have to say something about small TV and wifi a little slow. But we were going to disconnect, they say they offer more services like a pool. He has no bar service. the full breakfast. silent, although full, no noise was heard.
Hemos estado en este hotel dos veces porque esta muy bien con la autopista y es muy comodo para nuestro viaje. El personal es super cordial y siempre a disposicion , el tratto es como una familia. Las habitaciones estan limpias y eso es algo que para mi es primordial aunque todo El hotel necesita una reforma . Tiene una grande piscina, posivilidad de jugar a ping pong. Es muy tranquilo. De tener en cuenta que no tiene ascensor.
El Hotel esta CERRADO PERMANENTEMENTE, he intentado hacer reserva y no he podido y he llamado al teléfono y está sin servicio de linea. He llamado al Ajuntamiento de Pont de Molins y me han confirmado el cierre definitivo. Una pena!! al Hotel le faltaba una reforma, pero por precio y ubicación nos iba ideal. Les regalo un 5 estrellas por todos los años dedicados al negocio. Agur!
Nos hemos hospedado una noche ya que viajamos en moto. Es verdad que el hotel es antiguo y no se ha reformado pero está muy bien. El trato excelente. Le haría falta un bar para desayunar/comer pero hay restaurantes cerca que se puede ir andando. Recomiendo el sitio
