La Mere Tranquille

we had lunch here with 2 friends while we visited lamastre during a round trip on the le petit train de l’ardeche. we chose from the lunch menu that had 3 appetizers 3 main course and 2 dessert or cheese. all the dishes we had. were very delicious and well presented. the menu was diverse with a tendency to French traditional cuisine, but included a vegetarian option. the meal was served without delays that made sure we had time to look around the city before our retreat. the price of the entire meal including wine was about the same as a plate de jour meal in our town, so no tourist torn down.

I would never have seen poleon on a menu. it stood as a kind of tartiflette with posture and very good it was too, rich, creamy and piping hot. my companion chose trout that she said was very good and had the verna cream brulee a bit too much verna for me, but they enjoyed it. we'll go back.

very satisfied with this restaurant with its typical Ardechian products. more staff is very pleasant and we are reassured because the quantites are generous I highly recommend

we had a very nice diner before the restaurant. we decided to combine chestnuts in our starter and with calf meat. absolutely great! thanks for tonight!

everything is perfect, atmosphere, setting, food and prices the staff is super nice and the copious and delicious meals
