La Mesa Brigantine

I wanted to come to this special place since I was younger, but really never made a point until last Tuesday. I loved the boats and the decor they have inside... the hostess was really sweet. We sat right at the dirty ware and had to hear muded dishes, all the time we could hardly think. I asked if we could be moved because I suffer from cluster migraine, our waitress moved us a table to the right in the sun LOL OMG! After she sits there for a while, she mentions that the kitchen will soon be closed if you want something other than soda and tea. Simply amazing fillet mignon, perfectly cooked, super delicate and juicy. Definitely the same quality as Flemings and Ruth's Chris Filet mignon. Brig Salad (Crisp green with heart of palm, dried cranberries, glazed pecans, crispy blue cheese vinaigrette) was also excellent. The potatoes, green beans and carrots were good. The chocolate cheese cake was very good and not excessively sweet. The staff were very friendly. Update: Got the salmon entree with carrots and green beans, rice pilaf and caesar salad. It was good, but compared to the amazing fillet Mignon and Brig Salat plastered. The strawberry cheesecake was good and had more of a cake consistency compared to a New York cheesecake.

We had a romantic stand. Her crab and shrimp fond was dying. I had her Brig-Chowder and my husband had her Ceasar-Salat, both were amazing. My husband ordered the swordfish with Risotto and I had the Cordon Bleu chicken with potatoes. Both were delicious. We were very happy with the service and gave them a great tip. The only bad was the door to the terrace that was opened and it was very cool. The overall bill was very reasonable and we would definitely come back

Okay, I rarely give 5 star reviews, but our time in Brigantine was worth it! Our waiter was fast, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was fantastic! We ordered a crabcake remover, and honestly, it smelled everything I had grown up at Chesapeake Bay. Our fish dishes were served hot and were perfect. Hat of the bartender who made this May Tais. Perfect! We have already made plans for our next visit.

The French fries are amazing, the staff is great, Caesar salad was good but the fish of the fish and chips wasn't my favorite. The berry apple cobbler was good but tasted a little too healthy because of the oats/crumble on top.
