This smart and modern restaurant is attached to hotel (we did not stay) it is well off the beaten track, a couple of miles out of the local town. My wife and I each enjoyed 4 courses for 35 Euros wine coffee. I apologetically asked for a slightly more expensive starter that was not on the 35E menu and was given it with no fuss and charged no extra. The fish courses were exceptional, the other courses were very good. The waiter-cum-maitre’d was extremely friendly, welcoming and attentive. We booked a table for 7.30pm on a Tuesday and were the first people there, by 9pm we had been joined by 6 or 7 further couples. It was a quiet and grown-up evening and I’m glad that we hadn’t taken our child...
Sunday lunch,regional menu with no choice 28Euros, ordinary menu with choice 26. We went for one of each and enjoyed both. Service was excellent even though the restaurant was full with at least three large family parties. Food was well cooked and presented, not sure about the curry flavour goat's cheese,but hey eating out should be an adventure. Cheaper lunch menu during the week.
In a calm peaceful setting Le Moulin is the ideal place to share a celebratory meal with family or friends. The service and welcome is always impeccable. Attention to detail is never forgotten and the personal touches offered if one is celebrating a special event are very much appreciated. I look forward to the next time.
Excellent and very accommodating staff. Our grandson has an egg allergy and the staff bent over backwards to find something to feed him. Our meals were of excellent quality and the surroundings were relaxed and welcoming. High-end food without pretentiousness. One on our shortlist for future trips to our holiday home. Wonderful cuisine, full of flavour. They make one of the best terrines of foie gras I know. Very clean cut warm restaurant with caracter mixed modern design. A very relaxing place to eat. Will definately be returning.
Excellent food if you are not put off by a set menu. Very friendly waiter service even though we booked at the last moment! Good value for money.
