My go-to place for authentic Mexican food. I've lived all over the southwest and was raised on hispanic food and this restaurant helps keep my need for authenticity satisfied. The service is always timely and generally friendly. I've gone here probably 10 times in the last year and it's never disappointed. The mood is definitely set for more of a fun/bar experience but it has enough dining areas for you to spend it with your family.
I give it a 3.5 being from California it is decent for Mexican food. I do love the service, chips (always hot) and salsa and margaritas at this place. The people are super nice you do get large portions for the price. Everything is super cheesy. It's a nice place to grab drinks or have family night. The dessert is tasty too.
It was pretty crowded for lunch. But everyone was on top of seating and getting things to us in a timely fashion. Everything was good, hot, and fresh. The steak had a little too much fat running thru it., but it was flavored well.
We ate there on a Friday night. Busy but we were seated right away. The server was attentive but not overbearing. We loved the barrel seats. We ordered chicken shrimp enchiladas. They were delicious. There was plenty to eat.
