La Nougaterie Quebec

It is not exactly a restaurant but a great place for Nougat/Turrones and coffee. We stopped there for a coffee and we found an incredible range of Nougats from classic to those combined with fruits, chocolat and Nuttela. All amazing, the best that I ate...in my life. Quite inexpensive, the employer was so nice explaining everything and you can watch trough a window how they made them with basic ingredients as sugar, honey and egg whites.

I never thought I would enjoy nougat on my own, but this place has completely converted me. I visited the location on Île d’Orléans and can't wait to bring my friends to the one in Old Quebec. The nougat was absolutely delicious and I ended up buying more than I initially planned. I even sent some to my friends and family who are now also nougat fans. Highly recommend to anyone looking to discover the joy of nougat!

on the ile d’orleans is the product site of this nougaterie, whose products are also available in many confiseries in eastern Canada. the great advantage here: you can almost all sorts (and there is a lot of them) and then of course also buy. the owner (from Belgium) looks after very friendly and also tells a lot about nugat (and how she came to Canada). recommended, but an attentate on the slim line.

One of my favorites on the island. the place is near the bridge. It's so fresh, good, beautiful! nothing to do with the hard tips you find in the shops normally. There are also other products that seem to me as exquisite. People are nice and make you taste. This little treasure is on the left, soon after you turn north from the bridge. The focus is on nougat (egg white, honey, nuts and flavoring) and caramel. Their products are tasty, satisfying and authentic. Standouts are nougat with salted caramel and chocolate, lavender nougat,...and sea salt caramel. Recommended.

I walked into the restaurant to purchase my favorite desserts. They were having a promotion so I ended up buying 6 bars, even though my wife said 2 would have been enough. I still love the nougat.

Although I don't have to pamper myself with lush nougat sweets, the classic nougat here is irresistible and worth the calorie. make sure to buy everything that looks good to them.
