my man and I have come in the last 8 9 years every summer once a year after paillote bambou, and we have seen that the level of service, food and ambiente has deteriorated each year, while the prices have risen. we wanted to give it to him. the doubt this year, but were deeply disappointed. the ambiente is great with the beach, but the inside restaurant is filled with tables and is very loud. when we arrived, we waited 20 minutes before we were asked about drinks. the servants were all young, unskilled and relaxed. 3 4 times they wanted to serve the wrong one at our table and they joked about their mistakes as if it was not so important. our white wine was not cold, so I asked for ice cubes...
two days ago, we went to dinner with my companion to the bamboo paillote, which we knew the bar side, very nice. At the time of the order, I'm going to find out if we take a bottle of wine and don't finish it, can we go with the bottle started? practice that has become common in restaurants even gastros, given the strict regulations concerning the consumption of alcohol in the steering wheel. the server tells us that the boss had set up a "plug right" (an incorrect term after checking on the internet.) he explains that we will pay an extra charge based on the remaining quantity of wine? disappointing and incomprehensible.
After, having made a sea effect, the blue veil, white beach, the bamboo paillote remains for me the best on the beach of the great cross. the team is nice, whether it is the beach manager the servers or the person in charge of the reception. the kitchen is good, fresh products and quantities quite correct. for our part, burgers ( excellent) of tapas and a salad. no restaurant this time if. an excellent family moment where everyone can enjoy the beach and the setting. for who is the prices, I find this at the level of the overall service (quality of the dishes, cocktail and reception) . We'll be back with pleasure.
living in Montpellier, receiving my friends for the weekend I take them to the bamboo paillote as well for the setting as for food and service. the only thing we had to say that our evening is the poor quality of the service for a restaurant in this range of prices (184 € to 4 still.) red wine served iced and arrive at the end of our dishes .. unfriendly server .. it always lacked something, water, glasses, breads, and obviously an endless waiting for us to get the missing thing. on the other hand bravo to the chef! exceptional meat and dish!!

Bambou is right on the beach and really great particularly due to that. It also looks nice, simple mediterranean decor but effective : It gives you a nice relaxing feeling. However, service was almost non existent it took ages to have our drinks, then...our food. It’s true that we were a group of about 11 but it had been pre booked plenty of time to prepare. When it did come, the food looked good and it was tasty too. But not sure if really worth all the wait.. I would go there again for the location and maybe just order some easy drinks :
We're used to making a pebble stop during our escapades in the south. So we ate in early season. We were conquered by the kitchen and the fidele place itself, pleasant with smiling staff. on the other hand, we noticed that prices have a little bit torn apart in comparison with previous summers. That's why we're a little disappointed, the value ratio was correct, it's not really.
beautiful location and facility; situated directly on the beach. eat and wein were ok, but the service was incredibly slow. the staff was helpful, simply overstretched. a little overpriced for what it was.
It was a great relief to take lunch and refreshments on a day when the outside temperature was 42 degrees. Great service, friendly staff and simple food, bien prepare. Would go back for sure.

the pleasant environment, diversity at the level of drink, also has high prices but it is the place that wants it. always good times spent at the bamboo pebbles
A benefit is the parking lot! The reception is quite average apart maybe for the regulars. Tapas and cocktails are rather good quality but very expensive.
