Ziemlich enttäuscht im Vergleich zu diesem Restaurant neben einem Kreisverkehr, Bahngleisen, der Hauptstraße Milano-Bellinzona und der AUTOBAHN zusammen. Nur wenige Meter vom öffentlichen Strand von Bissone entfernt ... Netter Empfang und Freundlichkeit, aber im Vergleich zu so vielen großartigen Orten in der Umgebung völliger Energieverlust. Al Faro, Cantinone, Soave 10, Moscotte, das neue Restaurant auf dem Monte Generoso (mit einer speziellen kleinen Bahn), um das letzte Meisterwerk Fiora di Pietra des großartigen Intern' Mario Botta zu erreichen, und das Palace Café auf dem fantastischen Platz davor LAC (Lugano Arte è Cultura). In Lugano, Locarno und Ascona und in der unglaublichen alten...
The location is perfect and the views over the Lake of Lugano magnificent. So, if possible try to get a table outside, from where you can fully enjoy that.The menu offers a wide variety of mostly Italian dishes with, of course, a large selection of pasta and pizza. And as soon as your ordered dishes arrive (and they do arrive soon), you notice that they're very tasty - so another thing to enjoy at "La Palma". The third convincing aspect here is the friendly service. And not to forget that your four-legged friend, if ever, is allowed and even welcome to accompany you.After your stay at "La Palma" be sure to stroll along the beach front of Bissone.
lovely place, good food and in the summer gorgeous view of the lake. The food is excellent, thoough at times when very crowded service is very slow. We are regulars, and there were times last summer that we waited for one hour for our meal. It is better to make a reservation, especially in the summer. Excellent choice of food, menu with specials according to the different seasons. Pizze are delicious, very thin crust, but also a good choices of pasta and grilled fish and meat. Desserts are delicious. Prices a bit high, but in this area, everything has a high price.
Ich esse gerne Meeresfrüchte, besonders "Luccioperca", in diesem wunderschönen Restaurant am Ufer des Sees. Aber alles ist köstlich, vom Fleisch über Pasta, von Risotti bis zu Desserts. Sie haben auch eine große Auswahl an sehr guten Weinen. Hier findet jeder etwas nach seinem Geschmack! Auch der Service ist sehr professionell. Die Preise sind etwas hoch, aber die Portionen sind in der Regel reichlich. Wie auch immer, es entspricht dem schweizerischen Standard.
My wife and I ate there at the begin of July at 6:30 pm. This was not yet high season and most people obviously eat later, therefore we were almost alone. The place is nicely located at the lake shore. Service was friendly and quick and the food was overall of good quality. Prices are not cheap, but still reasonable, considering the environment and the restaurant itself. The only negative point: the little complimentary buns served with the meal were outdated.
We went there for a romantic dinner. Parking space might be a problem.The food was excellent as was the wine and not to forget the grappa barrique.The service was very friendly and helpful. However the restaurant has its price and we visited smaller grottos in the area that might be considered a little more romantic.
They cook every kind of dishes, such as meat, risotto or pasta..but I use to eat fish, especially some special starters with many different kinds of fish and shellfish.The strength lies, in my opinion, in its gorgeous view on the lake, I really suggest it during the summer.
La Palma is a great restaurant: I go there on a regular basis and it never fails to deliver amazing food. Pizza is great as well and the view of the lake is the best in town. Friendly staff.
Get table outside in the summer, and it is better to book. The service is a bit quick, otherwise huge portions, good waiters, and in general worth going to.
