I've been a couple of times to this restaurant, always very good meal but we went yesterday for lunch and although it states on your site that it opens at 12.30 p.m. when we arrived at 2.00 p.m. it was closed! A sign on the door says that it opens at 4.30 p.m. Most disappointing as I went specially with friends who had never been there before. They really should change the times on their page to avoid disappointing customers. We ended up having a fairly mediocre meal in another nearby restaurant.
La parra gold has changed a lot inside and for the better all you can see from the ceiling now are the two beautiful chandeliers. It looks amazing so fresh, and clean looking. The fish and chips were cooked to perfection and were absolutely delicious and great value for money. It's definitely an upper class establishment now and it looks the part. We'll done John and Adrianna youve done an amazing job. See you again soon
It was a toss up between crispy cod and La Parra gold on the night and La parra gold won. Great cod, chips, mushy peas and not forgetting the curry sauce. The beer wasn’t to bad either The place has had a face lift and it looks great, we’ll done John. First class service from John and his wife on the night. looking forward to our next visit when we return in September.
Wow. The best fish and chips I have ever had ANYWHERE, and I've travelled all over the UK and eaten F&C in lots of places. Apparently, the secret is in the batter and the 3 times fried, proper chips, not frozen chips are divine. The service is great and 100% value for money. These are the best fish and chips on the Costa del Sol , I’m a Fish and chip expert from Yorkshire as well as a Pork pie connoisseur and these are the ultimate and they provide take away which are amazing. If you don’t like their Fish you don’t like fish!
Very greasy...oil must not have been changed for a few days. Disappointing, has we had read all the reviews. Chips looked like they had been re-heated. Sorry will not ne back again.

Stumbled upon a lovely fish and chip shop. Food was really good. Owner and his wife are very personable. Very accommodating.
