Wir hatten das Hotel auf der Durchreise nach Spanien gebucht. Bewusst haben wir ein Hotel mit Restaurant gewählt, um nach der Reise nicht noch umständlich auf die Suche gehen zu müssen. Leider war das Restaurant seit längerer Zeit schon geschlossen, es gab‘ auch kaum Alternativen im Ort, da dort auch so gut wie alles geschlossen war. Morgens ist das Frühstück um 7.00 Uhr angekündigt, leider hat das auch nicht geklappt, so dass wir ohne Frühstück los sind. Zimmer sind alt aber sauber ok. und nachts sehr ruhig. Klima funktioniert sehr gut.
We arrived late for our reservation due to traffic, a group of 10 hungry people, and had a sick child with a sore throat. Allan welcomed us, made us feel comfortable and brought tea with lemon honey for the sore throat. It was next to impossible to choose between the meals and al a carte choices on the menu. They were all so awesome, cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented. We would all (from 12 to 47 years), give them a perfect 10!!!
We really enjoyed eating here. The service was friendly and relaxed without being too slow and the food was excellent. One of us had the 25 euro menu and one the 30. The duck and steak were both cooked perfectly to our requests and the wine was very good. It's a lovely courtyard setting and you have to use the buzzer to get in. There is a clear sign about this on the outside.

We were staying in Vergeze and looking for somewhere to eat. La Passiflore showcases local wines at reasonable prices, and the good was excellent. We were surprised it wasn't busier it deserves to be.
