This restaurant has a pretty much captive audience with many ski schools ending lessons at the Oeufs Blancs lifts nearby so it probably could get away with not being very good. However this is not the case. Staff are pleasant and there are nice touches like a complimentary dish of peanuts if you order drinks at a table. It is busy but efficient. The chef took care even in preparing steak hache. The salads were good; light enough to still have a good ski in the afternoon whilst being filling but also generous portions for those who need more. I cannot eat bread as I have allergies and I also cannot eat potatoes so I took a tomato and mozzarella salad and asked for a single hot dog, they refused to serve me just a single hot dog without the whole “dish” comprising two hot dogs and chips, I explained my food allergy and they didn’t give a hoot. So I asked for just a steak (something called a Haiche? and again unless I wanted the whole dish they wouldn’t sell it to me!! Apart from the lady on the till who was very polite about it, the staff serving were rude and really shouldn’t be in customer facing roles. If I’d have spoken French I’d have articulated how I felt!! Avoid!
A pit stop break for a drink and snack during skiing. We tended to have a caffeine fix or a chilled alcoholic beverage. There was a huge range of food (we only really had the French fries but it was really quite expensive for what it was (that’s eating on the slopes for you! the staff were friendly and chatty, there was a good atmosphere. Walking down to the toilets was pretty ropey in ski boots as the stairs down were very narrow and steep!
very long service of self not very practical with 2 children. especially that at the end of 40 minutes it can be served at the table. Too bad! otherwise, the dishes are well served, but a little expensive even for an altitude restaurant. The view is when it's beautiful. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We have spaghetti lunches with vegetables and a dish of the day, chicken with rice mushrooms. very pleasant and very hearty service staff is very nice the sunny terrace. which asks more for a pleasant moment with sparkling water that we had for 59 €
Good food. Keenly priced. But for heavens sake put a smile on your face! The lady today down in the creperie fast food bit was utterly miserable I tried to get her to smile but she was having none of it Shame
high-altitude restaurant, welcoming, typical decor, staff coming despite the affluence. a little waiting, with rich and good quality dishes for a reasonable price. soon, we'll be back
