I loved everything about this place, from the moment I entered! after 5 days to feet in whole paris, I discovered accidentally la patache and it definitely brightened up my whole trip. Live help atmosphere, friendly staff that they feel like you...belong, great drinks fizzy talks (in English included: . if they want to discover another type of paris and maybe want to make new friends, they should definitely go there: you will have great strata to share when you come home.
I don't know if this restaurant has changed the hands or just abandoned. there were two supposedly homemade objects a brave and an aubergine caviar and the only other offers are meal times that come from doses (beef bourguinon, game meat, etc., which at least the rarely seen waiter had the to warn us. Even the terrines that could easily come from a decent traiteur in ceramics were served in the super market glass glasses in which they are sold.
We were looking for simple steak frites and this restaurant was recommended by the concierge at our hotel. We had limited french and the owner limited English- that did not deter from us having a wonderful evening. We split a delicious tomato salad and then...had steak frites. Both were simple and delicious. Had a delicious bottle of wine as an accompaniment Great value for money. Would not hesitate to go back on our next trip to Paris.
We were recommended this place by our air b&b host. We were able to get a table on a Saturday night without a booking, luckily. The place was packed and the service was excellent. Food was very tasty; rustic style, and the tarte tatin was...yummy! NB tables are very close together so if you are ‘larger sized’ i would avoid it as you will struggle to fit between the tables.
