We drove in from Edmonton for Thursday lunch. Arriving at 1140 am, we asked for table of 2. The host said it would be 2 mins for him to set a table...the place was 1/4 occupied? Then after a 5 min wait, I glanced in to see the host filling water, chatting at a couple of tables. I felt ignored, so we left! Probably would've had another unnecessary wait for our food/beverage!! Excellent service from Tatiana and superb food from the kitchen. We had nachos to start which were delicious and tortas (Cubana and Carne Asada) for the main course. The tortas were so big we could only eat half of them. Then had the tres leche cake and churros for dessert. We will be returning in the near future.
I was happy with the service overall, despite being charged for a drink that was returned. It was particularly nice to have a South American guest and a waiter who spoke Spanish. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience at the restaurant.
By far, excellent Mexican cuisine. One of the best tortilla soups I've had. Cozy spot without the excessive noise.wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable made suggestions based off of our questions. Would highly recommend.
I absolutely adore this restaurant! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, and the service and ambiance are incredible. I highly recommend making a reservation, as it tends to get very busy, especially on weekends.
Consistently tasty Latin cuisine, great energy, excellent service every time we go. Recommend reservations unless you're content to wait or eat at the bar.
We were celebrating a Birthday and La Patrona was the perfect place to do that. The food, drink and service were delicious.
