We were lucky to get a table, as we hadn't made a reservation, but they squeezed us in (a party of 3). The food was superb - one of our group had a steak that was cooked to perfection, and all the food was great. We washed it down with the vin rouge de maison - a perfectly acceptable wine. You do need to book during the skiing season though - there was a steady stream of people being turned away without reservations. No recent good reviews for a reason. Did not appreciate being barked at by the owner from the moment we walked in. Treated like an inconvenience rather than a welcome customer. Decided very quickly that this place wasn't going to benefit from our custom. Told the owner we were leaving and was confronted with amazement and indignation. Get a grip friend....treat your customers with a little more respect.
Carefully prepared food, pizza and salmon pasta excellent. Tartifflete was delicious. Many people enjoying raclette, very reasonably priced. Very friendly atmosphere, good English spoken. Rose house wine was good and very good value. Booking in advance is advisable specially during peak weeks.
The only positive was that we could get a table at shortish notice! Food was badly cooked (raw duck) and uninspiring, even the French Fries were poor! Service was OK. Bill arrived promptly but paying was a nightmare a bad end to a poor evening.

Left after being ignored and subsequently abused by the owner. This place does not deserve to stay open. Don't bother, there are some decent alternatives nearby.
Wonderful stop at la perdrix blanche. Great food at reasonable price with great staff. Recommendation is logical. Looking forward to eating there again!
Food was excellent , we ate pizzas . We recommend this restaurant if u want to eat good ! We will come again next year ! Ambiance was great too !
