The restaurant has a nice setting, but it would not be my first choice for a lunch in Mougins. Food was mediocre, nothing special( group consensus). I ordered a club sandwich and the description included bacon in the sandwich. When I received my plate I...realized it didn’t have bacon. And our waiter disappeared for a while, so by the time we asked about the bacon I was halfway through our meal. The waiter then says to me that bacon is optional and I had to specifically mention that I wanted bacon. This is weird because it is not mentioned anywhere that it was optional... He ended up bringing me a sideplate of bacon... but oh well... for a restaurant in such a big establishement, I find this...
We went for the bargain of two for the price of one. Service was very good and the food was good. But a far cry from the super main restaurant in this venerable hotel where the food is always exquisite and the service impeccably refined....My advice to the management is destroy the pool. It is so ugly with a design and setting that is so unappealing , dated, and incoherent. The Mas Candille setting offers such a vast opportunity for an inventive and spectacular design for an infinity pool overlooking the tender slopes of the Mougins region with its signature olive trees. The whole pool area needs to be entirely gutted and a new cohesive thoughtfully designed super setting added to this fabul...

I was quite surprised with this restaurant. We had booked a ‘découverte’ day with lunch spa treatment included. Lunch was served at La Pergola restaurant which is right by the beautiful outdoor pool. The meal consisted of entree main dessert 2...glasses of wine. Thought we would have to choose from a selection of dishes (like it is usually the case at many places) but we got to select whatever we wanted from their menu which is quite varied in choices! So that was a bonus. And on top of that, everything was delicious! Definitely recommend coming here for a nice outdoor lunch!
We normally eat at the proper Le Mas Candille restaurant for lunch is sometimes dinner. We tried La Perfola because they had their 2for1 offer on their €65 menu. At this price with a good bottle of wine it is good value but at full...price I would rather eat in the main restaurant, just that bit more finesse all round. Again this property has a beautiful setting
I expected more. The service was excellent but the grilled fish and french fries (just over cooked) was just that. No side salad with it or anything. overprices
One of our favorite restaurants. A creative menu. Good service, and quality food. Great atmosphere and views. You won’t be disappointed!
