Visited for the first time yesterday with family. Warmly welcomed at the door without pre booking and seated straight away. Menu had too many delicious options, difficult to pick one so we all went for something different so we could see all our favourites and none disappointed. Staff were all friendly and the restaurant had a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We will be back, hopefully next time with room for dessert.
Wonderful from start to finish, greeted by a lovely manager I think called Baki, apologies if I misheard your name. Food was cooked to absolute perfection, perfect moules, whitebait, deep fried Brie, and delicious crepe for dessert. All staff members were so friendly in a lovely understated way and service was perfect. Will definitely return, truly a fantastic experience!
By far the best in Upper St, Islington. Had 5th visit yesterday, first time on a Sunday after many weekday excellent, good value lunches. We all had traditional Sunday roast in this French restaurant. What can I say otherthan it was as good as their French menu, the best roast dinner I have had for a long time. Well worth a visit.
Beautifully decorated ambient restaurant with lovely staff. The fried brie fornstarter was sublime. Beef bourginon was excellent as was the mashed potato accompaniment. The crepes are amazing! Sweet savoury. The waitress didn't ask us if we wanted buckwheat ones and when they turned up with normal flour we didn't have time to change them for new ones. The vegetarian filling is very generous and yummy. Please don't change a thing. I'll be back.
This is the place that can be great but also can not. From where they want you to sit to what you eat, all is by luck not by choice. Had the best egg with toast dippers but then eaten where it was average and unbefitting of the quality of the restraunt decor and location.
A really great meal. Service was prompt and thorough, yet unobtrusive . Produce was superb. Cooking was skilled, imaginative and accomplished. We had an excellent meal, reasonably priced and have only praise for this authentically French and very characterful place.
Despite not having booked, we were warmly welcomed and the service throughout was excellent. The food was utterly delicious and the drinks lovely too. We would highly recommend this place and already look forward to returning. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
La petite Auberge has very ambient atmosphere. We enjoyed an impeccable service and tasty meals. Sizeable portions. We chose the restaurant, because we love French cuisine. Thank you. Happily will return again.
