Jacqueline was our waitress for the evening, and she was attentive, checking in on us frequently as we waited for our food. The kitchen seemed to be running behind, as we noticed other tables were also still waiting on their entrees. Fortunately, we had ordered appetizers, and there was no pressure to finish them quickly, which was good because it took a while for the main courses to arrive. My friend, who had just come from the Country Fest at Massapequa Park and was dressed in a western outfit, faced an unfortunate ridicule from a girl at the bar who laughed at my fall and made a derogatory remark about my friend's attire. It's disappointing to encounter someone who lacks maturity and shows a cruel attitude, making them rather unattractive. I chose not to respond in kind, as I believe in maintaining my class. The ambiance was fantastic, offering a cozy and warm atmosphere, with soft French bistro music playing in the background and comfortable seating. We appreciated the unique folded menu as well! However, the service could use some improvement. Our waiter had a heavy accent, which made it difficult to understand him. We dined on a Tuesday evening at 5:00, and given that there was only one other table occupied, we expected more attentive service. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience!
I love a French cuisine, and was exated to see nice menue. But I was disappointed with the food. Let start that escargot was way too oily and tasted too plain. Duck was too dry, did not enjoyed it. Surprisingly, even desert was not good: creme de brule was way too sweet, if you have a glazed sugar on top the creamy dessert under should be less sweet than sugar on top.
