La Place - Tisch reservieren

Amazing dishes clearly prepared by a chef who loves his job. My favorite entries are the beef carpaccio (photo) and the salmon sashimi crispy rice. The burger is delicious; the kebab has been revisited to an upscale healthier version of the original one; the Benedict...eggs are pure delight, as well as the angus beef and the tartare. In terms of dessert, I just love them all. Not too sweet nor too little, just perfect. Highlight to the lemon cheesecake, Japan pearls and the mango pineapple salad (yes, it’s that good). it is very beautiful and very beautiful location. but the staff is terrible. it is the example when employees destroy the business. here's my experience. I was there for a quick coffee, it took when someone finally came to me to take my order. the manager took my order and disappeared. I'll wait for a coffee in a few minutes. I asked the waiter again to get my order. the personal went back and forth and totally ignored me, in the ground nothing. no one brought me coffee. when another manager came to me and asked me to leave the seat because they had to prepare tables for lunch! As a local restaurant, La Place certainly has potential. Food is good and atmosphere fine, but the experience can easily be marred by the waiter. Some of the staff are excellent, whilst unfortunately some are quite the opposite. It’s sad, because spending money means either...getting your value worth or just having wasted it. Too often, though, the latter feeling sets in as a couple of waiters seem to have skipped service mindedness class or just having flunked it because of a **** poor attitude. Such a waste. Find somewhere else if you can.

Very good place for people living in neuilly however the high demand with limited resources in terms of waiters make them sometimes very edgy... you can feel the tension when asking for slightest things sometimes. However coming on the right day where the waiter or...waitress is not overwhelmed is always an enjoyable moment with great food. Bit overpriced though compared to similar restaurants in the area
