We went there following the recommendation of our host. We had tapas for lunch. There was a good variety of tapas: we had both fish and meat, and everything was tasty and very well prepared. The price was very low even for Andalucia (22.50€ for 7 tapas and a salad). The only thing to improve was the salad, which was a bit watery and with no great taste. The owner was very friendly and took time to explain the various dishes to us. We definitely recommend the place !
We found this little gem after we had been kayaking in cabo de gato. We started with a cana and tapas and then ordered a paella, but instead of rice, it was baby pasta(fidenta??? it soaked up the sauce and it was delicious. The staff didn't speak great English, but our Spanish got us by and we had a lovely meal with great service.
Totalmente recomendable. Comimos allí varios días durante nuestras vacaciones. El precio inmejorable y la comida buena y rica. El trato y la atención espectaculares, un diez. Si puedes ir, hazlo, y prueba el salmorejo, la ensaladilla o el pulpo en salsa, te gustarán.
Really selfishly don’t want to share Bar La Plaza BUT it is simply the best Tapas Bar in the whole of the Cabo de Gata run by a wonderful family in a truly authentic Spanish way I just live it here always
