La Pointe A La Bise

I have been traveling over Europe for the last few weeks and have stayed at meany campsites but this has to be the best! The showers are hot and clean. The toilets are very clean too. The free wifi seems to work all around the campsite and is fast. The facilities are great as it has Swimming pool and a playground area. The restraint is very nice and there is a nice lounge area to relax in. There is a small shop in the campsite that offers everyday items. Although it is very expensive just like most things in Switzerland! You will be given a transport pass so you can use Geneva's trains, bus, boat and tram as much as you want for your stay. It's located next to lake Geneva and the view is but...

I went to this restaurant a long time ago and was looking forward to going back. It wS very disappointing, we arrived after an 18hr drive, and needed 10mins to relax and read the menu. I tried to explain this but the menu was removed from the table, and the owner wouldn't serve us. Eventually, a waitress served us, but we ended up with food and no drinks. The food is still excellent, but the atmosphere is terrible, it was very quite but if that's how they treat customers its no supprise.

We had a few nights here. Very clean and quiet campsite. Good facilities all kept very clean. Views on the lake were amazing and we were exhibited with a free public transport map that gave us access to all buses and trams in and around Geneva city.

The food was good. Came quickly and was beautifully prepared. The service was lousy, a long wait until it was cleared away. Only spoke the bare minimum. Will not visit the restaurant again
