This restaurant is ever so slightly off the tourist trail in Calvi [few minutes walk but seems to be more a locals area of the town]. We parked near here and instead of eating at the usual sea front restaurants, decided to try here. Hands down one of the best meals of the trip. Had St Pierre fish (which I was delighted to find out was John Dory which I've always wanted to try) on a creamy risotto and was honestly one of the tastiest things I've ever eaten. Staff were lovely, and the restaurant is very nice too. They had nice cakes on display also, which I didn't sample. Very good value too.
The food is good and reasonably priced. Service is friendly and the atmosphere is purebred at, with soccer on the TV. THE OWNER ALLOWS SMOKERS INDOORS. This detracted from the good food in our opinion and we did not return even though we were staying in a studio located in the same building.
Our first experience of eating out in Calvi and we were not disappointed. A busy bar restaurant with locals enjoying the food and the chat. The service was efficient and friendly managed to get a carafe of water without having to buy it! The food was tasty and good value. We would return

Very nice and pleasant team. Kitchen on top. The roasted camembert and his potatoes jumped to the prizuttu, a treat! Cool home too for our ally.
We were delighted, a seasoned carpaccio, a tuna steak and for me a homemade chicken, I found the flavors of a good chicken of my grandmother.
