I have always had a great experience at the grocery store, but the newer addition, the restaurant, has been terrible. I wanted to give them a chance to improve, so I tried it out. Unfortunately, I ordered the super nachos and received nacho cheese sauce that tasted like what you would get at a stadium or 7/11. I was disgusted and very disappointed. I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt like I needed to share this disappointing experience.
I ordered a full combination of enchiladas, but unfortunately all the workers were gossiping about me and they used unpasteurized cheese in the food. As I am 7 months pregnant, this was not safe for me to consume. They should have asked or at least informed me about the cheese beforehand. I was very disappointed with my experience and felt like they were trying to harm me. It was a waste of time and food.
I absolutely adore this restaurant. My only wish is that they would offer elote in a cup. I tried it once there, but it was watered down. With so many school kids and people doing laundry in the area, this should be a popular item. I usually have to buy it from a street vendor, but they are not always there. I really hope they start serving elote in a cup with regular or Hot Cheetos on top!
