I stopped by for breakfast and was surprised by the process. You have to wait in line outside to place your order inside, and there's no menu available for reference. It seems like most customers are regulars who know the menu by heart. Although there are plenty of staff members, it still takes a long time for them to pack the food, which is already prepared. The food is decent, but the salsa was lacking in flavor for what you'd expect from authentic Mexican cuisine. I noticed some employees standing around, which contributed to the disorganization of the ordering process. Considering they are the only Mexican restaurant in town, there's definitely room for improvement. The surrounding area...
Stop for breakfast. They'll take you to the snake and wait outside to make a job. You do not have a menu for you to reference. I guess most people are regular and know the menu to the heart. Then they have many workers, but they still take an eternity in the packaging of the already prepared foods. The food is delicious. Salsa was Bland for authentic Mexican food. I saw workers standing around. Definitely not organized order. Could be much better if they're the only Mexican ticket in town. Nearby area is industrial and they get a lot of nearby local customers.
I ordered one pork tamale and a carnitas burrito, and I was disappointed with both items. The tamale had very little pork, mostly just masa, and the burrito contained very little carnitas—about two tablespoons—mostly filled with rice, some beans, and just a hint of carnitas. The burrito was priced at $7.99 and the tamale at $2.35, plus tax. I won’t be returning anytime soon.
Come here to buy tortillas. This place is a great small business providing high quality tortillas at a good price. The proof really is in the flavor. These tortillas taste phenomenal compared to most store bought brands. The place also sells really good food, salsa, and guacamole. Friendly staff rounds off a great experience. Ordered 1 pigs and a Carnitas Burrito. Disappointed with both. Tamale had very little pork mostly masa and Burrito had very little Carnitas (2TBS) mostly a rice with some beans and a hint of Carnitas. $7.99 and tamale $2.35 plus tax. Don't come back soon.
