I ordered the medium-sized Sopa de Res because I was feeling a bit under the weather, and my boyfriend highly recommended it. The soup included a delicious broth filled with beef, potatoes, cabbage, corn, and carrots. It was the perfect portion and came with a side of rice, a Pupusa, and a lime. The soup was hearty and surprisingly flavorful. My boyfriend tried the Zucchini Pupusa and a Shrimp Pupusa, which wasn't on the menu, but the kitchen was accommodating and made it for him. It was served with a coleslaw-like side and a sauce. After finishing his meal and sharing some of my sides, he was full and rated both Pupusas a perfect 5/5. This small restaurant located on Bennington St. is really a hidden gem! I was in the area and craving pupusas and gave it a try and it was the best I 've had! There is many Salvadorian/Mexican restaurants in the area which I have given a chance and tried but by far this is the best! I went ahead and ordered antojitos la reina which brings a pupusa of your choice, taco of your choice as well as a tamal of your choice! It was amazing trying three things and they all tasted amazing!! I also got a horchata which was delicious! I will defiantly be coming back and also ordering take out
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. We chose it for Valentine's Day because we were craving pupusas and wanted something relaxed, without the hassle of making reservations. Surprisingly, it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences I've had in Boston. I even find myself driving out to East Boston just to enjoy this place!

We had the super desayuño, two tamales (one corn and one chicken), as well as marañon and tamarind juice. It was all soooo good. I was missing costa rican food and it really hit the spot!
Delicious and reasonably priced breakfasts traditional Central American style! Highly recommend the chilaquiles and if you like chicharrón they're delicious, too. ?¡Buen provecho!
