Je suis arrivé à "La Renommée" à 18h, pressé par le temps et par une envie urgente de "steak tartare / frites" !J'ai expliqué tout cela (rapidement bien sûr) au serveur qui prenait l'air tranquillement sur le pas de la porte. Aussitôt dit, aussitôt fait, et moins de dix minutes plus tard, j'avais devant moi l'objet de mon désir et une bonne bière pression.Repas copieux, viande fraîche et frites succulentes. Bref, plus faim après tout cela.Je ne viens (reviens)pas à "La Renommée" pour vivre un moment gastronomique, mais pour retrouver l'atmosphère de mon Nord natal, tel que je l'ai connu pendant ma jeunesse.Toujours le même plaisir simple et fort. A recommander pour de tels moments.

Un bistrot à l'ancienne où l'on vous servira toujours les mêmes plats simples.Je fais régulièrement 60Km pour me replonger dans la cuisine de mon enfance.Les meilleures frites que je connaisse, les meilleurs moules que je connaisse, des steaks hachés à l'ancienne que l'on peut demander bleu (ils ne sortent pas du congélateur), des côtes de porc dans l'échine et aussi des tripes.Une cuisine à l'opposé des surgelés et des standards de chez "Metro".
