We booked La Roma for our first night given that we'd travelled from the uk and played a round that day - so the general vibe was to get something simple and enjoyable. I must say that it ticked both boxes. We were a bit late for our table which being a big group (12) they had to give away shortly before we arrived. Fortunately the owner managed to get us two tables of 6 outside, which turned out to be fine. The staff took good care of us and the pizza was to die for. Incredibly fresh ingredients and dough that had clearly been baked to perfection. We didn't have to wait long to eat and even less for the beers to arrive. Having arrived in Le Touquet in the early afternoon we decided to have a stroll around town and pop out for lunch.We found La Roma and thought we'd have a late lunch here. The welcome was great and the staff were very attentive. We were seated indoors which was fine, but personally I'd preferred to have sat outside on their small terrace and be able to watch the world go by.The food was good and we enjoyed a selection of starters and pizzas and some local wine.All in all a lovely restaurant in the hub of the town and wouldn't hesitate to go back or recommend.
Fresh pasta, beautifully cooked.Quite a few restaurants in this area are a bit 'touristy'. You get the feeling they don't expect you to come back any time soon. Not so La Roma. Friendly, with a good menu and serving kids meals. All really tasty. If you want a change from French, this is ideal.
They fitted all 16 of us in and we had a nice evening, I am not sure that they Cater for that big a group all of the time, but the service was very good. The food was tasty and we all had a pleasant evening.
