Learned about this wonderful bakery when I was at a restaurant, had a delicious Lobster Tail for dessert asked which bakery they were from. So naturally I had to go to the bakery since I was going to a birthday celebration was asked to bring dessert win-win. All I can say is not only were the staff owners so nice, friendly attentive but everything I bought from the numerous assortment of cookies, biscotti, Lobster Tails, Sfogliatellas, St. Joseph's, rainbow cookie cheesecake etc... were all delicious devoured. Absolutely, they serve rainbow cookie cheesecake, and their pastries and cookies are exceptional. However, when my wife and I urgently needed a gender-reveal cake—since our original bakery was unresponsive despite our deposit—La Roma came to the rescue without hesitation. They crafted a beautiful and delicious cake for us with only a few hours' notice. While the quality of the food is what truly distinguishes this place, it's the commitment of the staff behind the counter that truly makes it one of the best spots on the Island.

One of the best carrot cakes I ever had. We also ordered the death by chocolate cake and the rainbow cookies cheese cakes for our party. When back in New York, I will definitely be back there to get some of that carrot cake. Everything was excellent, and the service was very quick and professional.
Every time I visit New York, I always prioritize stopping by a pastry shop for Sfogliatelle Cannolis. This time, I went to La Roma, and their pastries and cookies are the best I’ve ever had. They make me seriously contemplate moving back to New York just for their delicious sweets.
I ordered a 12 inch tiramisu cake for a birthday party the night before. It was ready the next day at 11am. It was absolutely delicious. Everyone was asking where is got it from. It tasted so fresh. Will never go to another bakery for a cake. Highly recommend!!
This is a gem of a bakery where you can find items normally not offered in Suffolk County. Iris had a phenomenal crunch. European style, so not overly sweet. Rainbow cheesecake was light creamy. Sfogliatella had dried fruit hidden within a crispy shell.

I went here to get chocolate mouse cake slice! It was honestly really good and would definitely be going there again! Staff was so friendly and welcoming!
