We had a rainy day so decided to hop a cab from Val d'Isere down to Les Brevieres for lunch at La Sachette. Skiing there is advisable as the cab was $35 (Euros), but lunch was worth every penny. Very cute and comfortable inside dining, but large outside deck area with good views for the better weather. We split the Sachette Salad and a pizza......both delicious......but watched two young guys work their way through the all you can eat raclette......envious.......and pasta dishes looked superb also. If you are skiing over and arriving past noon, consider the download option on the Cache Gondola as the lower pitch into town was a slushy mess. Great restaurant.
A great restaurant with a fantastic terrace outside with stunning panoramic views. I have popped into La Sachette for lunch a number of times over the years on ski trips and enjoyed a dekicious tartiflette on the terrace when the weather allowed. We recently visited with friends for dinner, after not having been for several years, and it didn't disappoint. There was an excellent selection on the menu, the steaks were perfectly cooked and a good selection of wines. Highly recommend.
The whole ambience is happy, smiling, pleasing. Set in a beautiful wooden chalet with a fire at the entrance. We had a variety of main courses, and although I'm vegan I had fish because they don't list any vegan or vegetarian options on their...menu. This site says that they're vegan friendly, so maybe you have to ask for the vegan options... Having said that, the food was delicious as was the genepi that finished the meal : I'd definately go back there.
We went for dinner with friends and our two seasonaire children. The formidable yet friendly hostess greeted, sat us and ensured we were comfortable. She took our order, recommended a cheaper local French fizz rather than the champagne, which was excellent, and served us quickly and efficiently. The food was excellent, we all had something different and all were delighted with our choices.

We visited La Sachette on the night that food wasn't provided in our chalet and we weren't disappointed!Choice of food and drink is great and three of us shared the traditional raclette which kept us full for the entire next day! The pizzas, salads and service are also top quality - would definitely recommend while in Les Brevieres.
two first advice lunches in this week plat du jour on the sunny terrace and an excellent steak inside on a cold day. excellent service, big wine, very, very good eating here, friendly owners and a much more personal and professional culinary experience as. is available in the regular “up” the mountain. this is my lucky place!
my friend and I came to la sachette on a Sunday afternoon. great atmosphere for lunch and a good price too. the record of the day was fantastic a tempo score and medley of sweet. the personal was great. alex was his name. Top-class... service and love to detail was great. we'll be back.
we had a fantastic lunch in la sachette, just a short walk away from the pists. the tartiflette was delicious, would highly recommend. although the restaurant was busy, our eating quickly arrived and the waitress was very attentive. we're coming back!

As a group of 13 we were made very welcome and the food was excellent. Popular restaurant and hence would recommend to book.
